Came back from Bali recently for a holiday and well, what can I say… I was simply in awe by the beauty of the surroundings, the beaches and the laidback stress-free life over there.
I went there with a good friend of mine, Mohsin, and we explored the place just like anyone else would. Honestly speaking, I was there on a tight budget so I didn’t shopped as much as Mohsin did in Bali.
I was more of a travelling photographer the whole time. Looking out for places good to shoot and I found out there were plenty of ‘em and it’s definitely a paradise for photographers such as myself.
We also made friends with an English couple who were staying in the same hotel and had good company with them while it lasted.
So here are a few selected images to share from the trip from the eye of a travelling photographer. Enjoy and of course, comments are much appreciated.

Hotel was cosy and we got a seaview room too!

Just wonderful to start off the Bali experience.
Went to catch the spectacular sunset as soon as it got dark. Simply breathtaking.
Dinner by the beach.
… followed by star gazing.
Bintang in Bali ~
Started the second day with a city tour to Ubud, where we were brought to places with many of the local people who are really good in arts, handicrafts and more.
One of the places where tourists could have souvenirs of Batik prints.
Smile, give a white tee, choose picture and leave a tip.
Batik on tee.
See how jewelleries are made in Bali. You don’t get to see this everyday.
Traditional method, I guess?
Local craftsman busy with his artpiece.
Beautiful paintings almost at every corner of Ubud.
Humble beginnings.
Probably the only place where u can call people Legong and get away with it.
Random photography.
… more random photography.
There’s definitely flowers everwhere you go.
Random shot in one of the pool room in Ubud.
Just one of the many sceneries you can’t get at home.
Street exploring and photography on the third day in Bali. I was in a hunt for kites and guess what? I bought 5 of ‘em! Haha! But 1 flew too high and it came crashing down and wasn’t able to recover it. That was one of the prettiest kites I ever had.
Oh wells, I still have another 4!
Kite lines.
A little portrait of Mohsin in Bali. There’s countless of beautiful alleys and pathways for people like myself to just love ‘em all.
Abandoned house.
One of the shops Mohsin spent alot at. Think he bought for everyone he knew back in Singapore.
Life in Bali~ Anything’s possible if you have the will to live.
Local karanguni man~ Doesn’t seem much but guess he’ll survive with the scraps collected.
Meet the locals~
Random street photography
That’s a real push kart~ Translation: Ice with milk
Life by the beach~
Woke up on the fourth day with the idea of breaking the wind with Mohsin during the glorious sunrise over the Bali skyline …
… and this is what I got.
I spent the remaining time in Bali buying more kites before I left. I’m definitely coming back again to explore more places, especially those spots for amazing sunsets and the beautiful beaches there. ![]()
